HERSHAM FC.

Hersham Football Club has a rich history, from humble beginnings in the village in 1976 to the 300+ member Club with 22 regular teams that it is today, including Female teams for the past few years, that continue to grow year on year.

Throughout the organic growth and development, Hersham FC have maintained their core values and continue to support the local community by providing sporting opportunities with a family feel.  The Club, registered as a Sports and Social Club, with accreditation from the FA under the England Football programme, We are structured and managed by a committee annually elected by its members.  The experienced management team share a long-standing affinity with the Club, often having been involved either directly or indirectly with teams within the Club.

Over the 47 years since the Club was formed, valuable links have been established not only with players and parents but also members of the local community, local businesses, the local borough council, schools, press and other Clubs.  This aids the ability of the Club to communicate with these groups which has over the years led to various forms of support and collaborations, and has allowed the club to flourish to what it is today.

The Club is based upon strong financial foundations. Self-supported, the Club have established itself through membership and match fees with additional revenue injected through sponsorship & grants from the FA, The Club is constantly reviewing its overheads and costs and looks proactively towards acquisitions which support medium to long terms savings, As a 'Not For Profits’ organisation, Any profit is re-invested in our facilities, or saved to maintain a positive balance sheet and support the Club in future challenges and aspirations.
